Why Consultations Are Necessary?

- To set proper expectations for the timing and the pricing that is necessary for the service you desire
- To prescribe a regimen and determine a schedule that is best for you
- To create clear expectations on maintenance, styling requirements and any hair condition concerns.
Need to Knows for New Clients & Consultations
- FOR NEW CLIENTS, Consultations are Required****
- The Cost of the Consultation does not go toward your first service
- Bring multiple pictures Pictures of your desired style, with different angles to reference
- FOR NEW CLIENTS, Choose the "New Client" Services, which alot extra time to get to know you and your hair
- Always Be open and honest during your consultation and experience with your stylist to ensure we are on the same page and can meet your desired expectations.
- Always Bring A fresh positive perspective and open Mind!
DONTS
- Come with hair fresh out of a protective style (hair must be cleaned within 7 days of services)
- Come in with Braids, Twists, or a style that will not allow your stylist run her fingers through your hair
CURLY CUTS
Need to Knows
- Cut is done solely with the hair in its natural state, not blow drying or flat ironing
- Best for clients who straighten their hair 2x/year or less
- Best for clients who are looking to wear their hair in it natural state, with little to no heat
- Includes treatment, trim, shaping and style
DONTS
- Come in with blow dried or stretched hair
- Come in with braids, twists or any style that will alter you curl pattern
- Come fresh out of braids (recommend you hair is out atleast a month prior/ Shampooed atleast 4x)
COLOR SERVICES
Here are some important things to consider before getting color on your naturally curly hair.
- How do you like the current state of your hair?
- If you have issues with moisture breakage or shedding NOW, you are More than likely NOT a good candidate for color.
- Your Hair Must Start at a Healthy State before your first color service
- How Committed are you to maintanence?
- It is important to have your hair treated and assessed atleast 1-2 weeks before color, and treated 2-4 weeks after color
- How committed are you to your curl pattern? - When going lighter into blondes and platinum color, you will more than likely Loosen your curl pattern.
- How do I decide What Color to go for ?
- Look up Photo Inspiration online- Pinterest and google are great!
- When Looking For Color Goals, it is important to look for people who have close to the same skin tone, curl pattern, and length,
- Lookin at people that look similar to you will give you those most realistic projection of what the Hair Color will Look Like on you.
- Always see your Professional for a Color consultation before booking, pick a professional who has familiarity with coloring, especially hair texture like yours
- Know Your Color History, how long ago you colored your hair & what color you have been-- this will most likely leave or be the undertone of your next color
- Do You have dark hair & want to be Blond? Unless you have Virgin Hair(hair that has never been colored) You will Most likely have to Book multiple sessions to achieve blond hair.
Maintenance
- After Your First Color: Deep Condition your hair atleast 2x a month
- Use a Bond Builder and/or Use Protein treatments to restore strength 1x a month
- Lower Your Usage of direct heat (flat irons, direct blow drying) Hair color makes the hair more porous-more prone to breakage
- Use atleast 2x more moisturizer products; leave-in conditioners, heat protectants, oils, styling creams
- Only shampoo and condition with Sulfate Free Products
- When washing the hair, use luke warm to cool water to prevent color from fading out quickly
- Always sleep with a satin scarf, satin bonnet, satin pillow case
CROCHET BRAIDS

What You’ll Need to upkeep Crochet Braids
- Satin/ Silk Bonnet,
- Leave-in Conditioner spray
- Scalp Antiseptic – RoseMary Stimulating spray
- Scalp Moisturizer- Honey Almond/CoConut Milk Leave-In, or Organic Complex, Natural Oil
- Moisturizer for perimeter- Growth Cream
- Plastic Applicator Bottle – helpful to apply oil, or shampoo and conditioner to scalp
- Hooded Dryer (optional) if you wash your hair, to ensure your braided foundation is dry
Maintenance
- Finger Detangle 2X Per day, ex. Morning and night
- Moisturize perimeter of hair daily with Growth Creme or Organic Complex
- Wrap Hair with Satin bonnet before bed
- Every 2-4 days, depending on your scalp needs, spray with Rosemary Spray to prevent build up and itching
- Every 2-4 days, depending on scalp needs, spray with Leave-in conditioner of your choice, and oil with Natural Oil
- When wetting hair, ensure scalp is completely dry to prevent Unwanted odor/ bacteria. ex, use Hooded Dryer
- Knotless Crochet Braids are an amazing protective Style.
CURLY SET

What You’ll Need to upkeep Curly set
- For Styling, Honey Almond Leave-in, Honey Almond Styling Foam, Organic Styling Gel
- Satin/ Silk Bonnet, Satin Pillowcase
- Leave-in Conditioner spray (coconut Milk)
- Sealing product: Natural Oil, S3 Serum
- Moisturizer for perimeter- Growth Cream
- Hooded Dryer (optional) if you want to expedite drying time
Maintenance:
- Always have Serum, or a light Natural Oil on your hands before fluffing and separating your curls in the morning and/or at night
- Wrap at night Daily with your satin bonnet /Sleep On Satin PillowCase
- Cover the whole head with a bonnet
- or use Satin scrunchies to pineapple the hair in 1 big section or multiple sections (1 on each side of your part-line and 1 in the back to retain the shape and style of the hair.

BRIDAL STYLING
The Need to Know for booking Bridal Hair:
- We Want To Make this day as Seamless as possible
- Bridal Trials are Non-Negotiable
- Must Be Booked atleast 3 Months before Wedding Day
- All Textures are Welcome
- Multiple Extension Options
- Must Sign a Bridal Contract For On location Services
Important- Dont’s:
- DONT Color your hair the day before your wedding day
- DONT Cut your hair less than a month before your wedding day
- DONT Wash your hair on the wedding trial or Day, only the night before
- DONT try anything too far away from your Norm less than a month before he wedding day
- DONT take your hair style down for atleast 6 hours after your trial to test the longevity of the style
- DONT assume good weather for an oudoor wedding, leave room for back up looks
- DONT be afraid of extensions, they can be added in a very natural realistic way for all textures, can add drama, and photograph very well.
Maintenance
